Introduction
TeraForge™ is a visual integrated development environment for
developing, debugging, and testing Teradata® BTEQ scripts, stored procedures,
and MACROs. Additionally, it can also be used as a general purpose query and
data analysis tool.

Current functionality includes:
- User-friendly, drag-and-drop editting of scripts, procedures, and macros
- Drag and drop ad-hoc query editting and project creation.
- Single stepping through scripts, macros, or stored procedures, a single
statement at a time
- Stepping into or over embedded runfile, macro, or stored procedure calls.
- Setting breakpoints
- Examining intermediate results of variables, parameters, and tables/views
- Manually modifying variable and parameter values during execution, including shell
variables used within scripts
- Pre-compiling scripts to check for syntax errors
- Monitoring execution of SQL statements in near real-time
- Easy to use tree-based schema browser
- EXPLAIN individual SQL statements
- Executing ad-hoc queries

- Plotting datasets into line, point, area, candlestick, barchart,
histogram, boxchart, or quadtree graphs.
- Importing or exporting data from/to Excel™ files.

TeraForge™ provides a quantum leap in productivity for the
Teradata® developer. With the ability to interactively develop, test,
and debug your Teradata components, the days of "trial and error" development
